10% TRANEXAMIC ACID helps to decrease melanin formation and restore the skin barrier to protect the skin, including the sensitive one. Tranexamic acid is a new-generation molecule that inhibits melanin synthesis by interfering with the interaction between melanocytes and keratinocytes through the inhibition of the plasmin system. External skin disruptors, such as UV light or injuries (like acne), cause the keratinocytes in our skin to produce plasminogen, which further starts several processes like inflammation, increased tyrosinase activity, melanocyte differentiation, and transfer of melanosomes to upper skin layers. Tranexamic acid decelerates these processes by interfering with plasmin activity, and hence, in turn, indirectly inhibiting melanogenesis.

Morus Alba Extract:  White mulberry (Morus alba Extract) root extract contains antioxidants, but its main effect on the skin is to reduce the appearance of discoloration and uneven skin tone. It also has the potential to lessen redness and dark spots. There are substances in Morus Alba called as flavonoids, some of which have been demonstrated to stop the process that maintains discolorations looking more apparent.

Phytic Acid: Phytic acid is an antioxidant, so it helps fend off skin-aging free radicals. It can also prevent blackheads and shrink pores. Being an AHA, phytic acid possesses exfoliative properties. It is a milder version of glycolic acid, allowing it to shed off dead skin build-up, but in a gentle way. This can reduce the appearance of dark spots and signs of aging. Phytic acid is a gentle hydroxy acid that can be used on sensitive skin.
