WHAT IS IT? Fixderma Shadow SPF 30+ Gel is a non-oily, non-greasy sunscreen formulation, which is ideal for oily and mixed type of skin. This light-weight gel spreads perfectly on the skin without leaving any whiteness to the skin. It offers a protection against both UVA & UVB rays.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply Fixderma Shadow SPF 30+ Gel liberally & evenly on the face, neck and exposed area of skin 20 to 30 minutes prior to sun exposure. Further reapplication is only necessary after activities such as swimming or after excessive sweating.

ZINC OXIDE (Micronized)
ZINC OXIDE (micronized) work by scattering the sun’s rays, which prevents potentially damaging ultraviolet radiation from getting to the skin. The finely powdered mineral formula used in sunscreen does two things—reflect and absorb. A protective zinc oxide layer on top of the skin reflects and absorbs the harmful UVA (also considered to be carcinogenic) and UVB rays such that they don’t reach your skin.
OCTINOXATE also known as Octyl Methoxycinnamate and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, is the oldest and most common sunscreen active used to protect skin, primarily against UVB rays. It absorbs UVB radiation (at wavelengths: 280-320 nm) with a peak protection at 310nm. Octyl Methoxycinnamate has a solid record of safety (decades of research and thousands of studies establishing its safety in sunscreens as indisputable).
BENZOPHENONE-4 is within a group of aromatic ketones that contain both UVB and UVA absorbing properties that filter block out harmful UV rays. It is quite effective in not only filtering out UV rays but also preventing other ingredients from being degraded by the sun. It does not penetrate the skin to a large degree but allows for other ingredients to do so.
AVOBENZONE (butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane) is an organic material that helps reduce the amount of UV light to which the human skin is exposed by absorbing and refracting the radiation and subsequent disposal.
